Dr. Li was a graduate from Northeast Foresty University in HARBIN, China. He received his MS in Forest Ecology from University of Washington in 1985 and Ph.D in Landscape Ecology from Oregon State University in 1989.
He was a postdoctoral fellow with the Systems Research Group of San Diego State University from 1989-1991 and a research associate at the Phytotron of Duke University from 1992-1995.
Currently, Dr. Li is a senior research ecologist and the national vegetation science manager with USDA Forest Service. His research interest including, ecosystem management, landscape ecology, and quantitative ecology.
