The State Key Laboratory of Earth Surface Processes and Resource Ecology (Beijing Normal University) is an applied geology and ecology research laboratory. ESPRE scientists and engineers marshal their efforts around four broad research themes: earth surface processes, resource ecology, earth surface system modeling and simulation, and sustainable regional development model. The lab is also an educational center for students pursuing master and doctoral degree. It hosts post-doctoral programs as well and offers collaboration opportunity for domestic and international scholars.
