贾秀萍博士目前是澳大利亚南新威尔士大学School of Engineering and Information Technology高级讲师，是《遥感数字图像分析》一书共同作者，IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing副主编，International Congress of Imaging Science成员。主要研究方向包括遥感、图像处理和分类、高光谱数据分析及特征提取，在Remote Sensing of Environment、IEEE Trans. on Geoscience and Remote Sensing、IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters、PE&RS、Int. J. of Remote Sensing等杂志发表数十篇论文。
