ESPRE’s Review Meeting 2011 was successfully held

From December 17 to 18, 2011, ESPRE held Review Meeting 2011 with 62 attendees including both permanent staff and itinerant researchers.
The Meeting was hosted by Deputy Director Chen Shi. Professor Chen Jin, Deputy Director of ESPRE made a Work Report of ESPRE, introducing ESPRE’s progress of HR, projects, results, international exchange and large-scale apparatus and wrapped up the existing problems. After that, Leaders of 11 teams also reported works and research progress in 2011. At last, Professor Shi Peijun made a review in which bothrecognize the progress and existing problems. The report made it clear that that further integration of team, identification of core research goals, strengthening of  talent cultivation, abstracting of representative achievements, and application for rewards were the next tasks. ESPRE will further summarize the reports of each team to select outstanding research progress of 4 directions so as to make a comprehensive report in the Conference of Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory held on December 25 for comments.
