BNU’s Integrated Risk Management Research Group attended 2011 Second Track Dialogue between China and Australia

Under the invitation of Australia's Griffith University, members of Integrated Risk Management Research Group including Professor Li Ning, Associate Professor Meng Yaobin and Associate Professor Wang Yingfu attended 2011 Second Track Dialogue: "Non-traditional Challenges to Asia's Security: Forging Resilience in the 21st Century”. The meeting was held in Brisbane City of Australia from November 16 to 18 2011 with the theme of “non traditional challenges to Asia's security: disaster response, resilience and emergency management ". The number of attendees was around 30 including scholars, government officials and business managers from the Center of Australia's Police and Security Optimization, Administration and Public Policy Research Center, Queensland Police Agency, Emergency Management Institute, the Department of Defense, Queensland Reconstruction Authority, Indonesia, Asian Disaster Preparedness CentralADPC Bangkok, The Red Cross Society of China, The International Association of Emergency Managers, China Asia and Peking University, BNU, National Climate Centre of CMA, and China Earthquake Administration.
