On September 21st, 2009, upon invitation from the National Intelligent Transport Systems Center of Engineering and Technology (ITSC), Ministry of Communications, two teachers, Wang Ming and Yang Saini from the Integrated Risk Management Institute (ESPRE Lab) attend and give academic reports in the 2009 international academic lecture series hosted by ITSC.
During the conference, Associate Professor Wang Ming gives a report with the subject of An Introduction to the IHDP-IRG International Scientific Plan on Comprehensive Risk Prevention, in which he systematically introduces the content of the IHDP-IRG scientific plan, and orientation and focuses of future development. Associate Professor Yang Saini makes a report with the subject of Research on Catastrophe Management and Transportation Emergency, in which she explains the problems of risk modeling under disasters by introducing the completed research project of Escape Model under Disasters of Hurricane, and the ongoing project of Transfer Model of Disaster Relief Materials and Equipments under Earthquakes.
After the conference, the two teachers exchange their views with the researchers of ITSC, and discuss about several fields and subjects for future cooperation.
