Held in Qingdao from July 10^th to 11^th, the first session of Young Scientists Symposium on Earth System Model attracts more than 20 experts and scholars from domestic universities and research institutes. Dr. Ji Duoying and Dr. Yang Jing from the ESPRE Lab of BNU both attend this symposium. Upon invitation, Dr. Ji also gives a report with the subject of The Development of Terrestrial Carbon Cycle Models. This symposium provides opportunities for the young scholars to deepen their discussion on difficulties and future development of works regarding earth system model, and reach agreement on how to strengthen their cooperation in this field.
