Based on the MOE(Ministry of Education) Key Lab of Environment Change and Natural Disaster and MOE Key Lab of Biological Diversity and Ecological Engineering, State Key Lab of Earth Surface Processes and Resource Ecology (ESPRE) has been established by integrating relevant research resources of Beijing Key Lab of TCM(traditional Chinese Medicine) Resource Protection and Utilization, MOE Engineering Center of Natural Medicine, MOE Engineering Center of Desertification and Blown-sand Control and Beijing Engineering Technology Center of Desertification and Blown-sand Control and with the support of the two technological innovation platforms of “Earth Surface Processes and Integrated Disaster Reduction” and “Biological Diversity Science and Conservation of Endangered Species” under the National “985 Phase-II” Project.
